Who am I?
Hi there! My name is Andrew. I’m a 27-year-old multimedia creator of over 10 years. I got my start by shooting film photography in high school but have since branched out into filmmaking then web design, motion graphic design, and writing.
What do I do for a living?
I’m a full time video producer based out of Washington, D.C. and I absolutely love it here.
What do I do outside of work?
When I’m not working, you can find me doing archery, kayaking, exploring a state or national park, or reading a book at a D.C. coffeeshop on the weekends.
The why behind the blog.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about living in a major city, it’s that there’s always two sides of any city – the local and tourist sides. I have a passion for exploring new locations, even at home, like a local. I love exploring the tourist areas too, but to me, I find more joy in assimilating with the locals – eating where they like to eat, drinking where they like to drink, and hanging out where they like to hang out.
I created this blog as a way to share my experiences traveling like a local, be it in my hometown or abroad, in the hopes that I can inspire you to live a more culturally curious life!
